Random sampling in research study

In research study, collecting information or data from the entire population is not feasible. Hence, the concerned researcher resorts to sampling. The advantages of random sampling techniques in research are:
·     Small number of subjects in order to minimize the investment  in time and money

  • Affordability to control the subjects
  • Easy to manipulate data in small numbers.

To deal with the aspect of sampling, certain representative of the population is taken and is subjected to randomized techniques. This topic is about the need of random sampling in research study. When it comes to random sampling, each member in a group possesses equal chance of being selected or picked. It requires a single step to select each member independently. There are so many methods to conduct the random sampling, but the most prevalent method is lottery method in case the number of participants or respondents in small number. Otherwise, if the number of respondents is more; computer-aided selection will do the necessary.

Now, discuss about the advantages of random sampling. One of the advantages is the ease of gathering the respondents with equal opportunities for all. If the sample doesn’t belong to the group, the random variation leads to sampling error. In this respect, the research also requires insights over randomized controlled trials. Application of this trial is to minimize the influence of external variables. The advantages of this randomized controlled trial are:

  • To remove extraneous variables
  • To remove accusations involving both conscious and subconscious
  • To cancel the confounding variables, etc.

Sampling is one thing, where the researcher requires putting heart and soul with an aim to induce useful information or data. Any error in sampling will lead to research project out of the track. What needs to be done is either consult experts or seek the guidance of supervisor. The latter option might not be so easy to avail due to excessive responsibilities. Therefore, consulting research experts and statisticians might only do the justice for the research study.

If you have any issue in dealing with sampling or related statistical applications; our expert guidance will come handy having cognizance to the study. Their expertise involves:

  • How to do sampling
  • Where to approach
  • Which group of population to include
  • How to exclude unwarranted respondents
  • How to ensure the respondent’s information accurate
  • The impact and influence of sampling in favor of the research study, etc.

In addition to this responsibility of assisting in sampling, we also facilitate guidance for other requirements like: employing specific research methodology, data collection, data analysis and interpretation, etc. All these guidance will ensure you get the research objectives as expected. Moreover, if you are need of developing PhD thesis or Master’s dissertation or any such academic assignment; we are approachable at any time. Hence, it is an opportunity to students even from countries like UK, USA, UAE, Australia, etc to consult for any such academic responsibilities.
